Course Objectives: This in-service focuses on the importance of setting and keeping healthy boundaries and how to identify situations before things go wrong. The caregiver will understand their responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional boundaries in the therapeutic caregiver-patient relationship, as well as the consequences of boundary crossings, boundary violations, and professional sexual misconduct. This in-service includes case studies and examples that involve situations to help the caregiver avoid potential problems.
